Emergency Plumbing Service
If you’re looking for a good emergency plumbing service, you came to the right spot. I want to talk to you a little bit about what you should look for when looking for an emergency plumber.
Maybe, some of the questions you should ask and that way you can decide for yourself if you’re really going to take on that plumber that you’ve been thinking about. Now, we’ve been in the business for over 25 years, helping people improve their homes and basically, any kind of market you can think of in that field.
But, what we have found out is, there are some criteria that you really want to know about hiring a good plumber and really anybody in that matter. So, if you’re looking for a good plumber at this time, you’ve got to make sure: one, that he does have a contractor’s license.
And if you’re really anywhere like I would be, I would make sure that that license is up-to-date and make sure it’s in his name, not somebody that he’s outside working for. It has been done in the past. Don’t use someone else’s contractor’s license if his name is not the same as on his driver’s license, okay?
People do this all the time. Also, make sure he’s been in business for at least a while. If he’s done training with his mum or his dad or whoever, that’s okay, that’s a plus, that’s alright. Once you’ve been doing it for a few years, in that way he has his training done. I‘ll say a few, but anywhere between three and five is great.
Not everybody is perfect, at the same time, there are customers out there that will make a big deal sometimes out of nothing.
It could be just maybe he ran over the sprinkler head, okay? So, my suggestion to you is just to make sure that the business license is there, he’s got a contractors’ license, they are registered with a professional association (like the Master Builders Association) or he’s got no dinks against him in that field.
Local Emergency Plumber
Family- family business is always good. When you’re working with people and it’s a family business, it works out better. Corporations- sometimes it’s just too far away. Family, they would always have a reputation to take care of. So you want to work with a family business.
That’s the way I look at it. Anybody that I hire, I try to do just that. Not in all cases, though, don’t get me wrong.
So, if you’re comfortable with them and they are a corporation, that’s up to you.
- Do they show up on time? That’s going to tell you right about where they stand. They should give you a window and that’s always a plus. Maybe a thirty-minute window when they’re going to show up.
- Also, is there a 24-hour service?
- Do they have a hotline that you can call?
Because you don’t want to be sitting around and there’s no one to call and all of a sudden something, maybe 8 hours later- 2 in the morning- and they’re finished with the job.
You want to be able to call them to make sure that water is not coming through your whole house or your backyard. So, make sure that it’s a 24-hour service. Live service is the best. But not all cases. Sometimes, if it’s a family business, he goes right to his cellphone. So that’s pretty much what you’re really looking for.
Concentrate on that. Also, the honesty.
Well, that’s going to be up to you. Is there any bad name with that person?
The people that we deal with, they’re pacific coast, triple A, award-winning, so we know that these people are good. And I’m not going to tell you that unless they’re good.
And these people are all over Sydney area that you’re looking for and we have- in each city just about- we have someone that can handle the situation, the bit or the problem.
So give them a call and just click on and you’ll see their name will shoot up. Call them up or look on their website and get some more information on them and then get bids out there too.
Make sure you take a couple of bids unless there’s an emergency.
Sometimes it just works out that way.
